You are an influencer whether you realise it or not. If you do business online, you’ve already gathered a few people or a few thousand people around you who are helping you to achieve influencer status.
Sometimes we have to further our knowledge and take that influencer status to the next level.
There’s no better way to advance your knowledge in being an influencer than by reading about the people who have already achieved what you’re hoping to achieve.
With that in mind there are a ton of books that you could read to help you achieve your business goals. So I am going to share the books that have helped me the most over the last few years.
There are some older books that are still extremely relevant today but they are mostly newer books that are up to date and really relevant. The authors of these books have already acheived influencer status in a big way so pay attention to their words.

2. The Ultimate Sales Machine – Chet Holmes
I fell in love with this book whilst on holiday in Santorini. I read to it twice on holiday and have re-read around 4 times in the last few years.
There’s so much information in the book that is brilliant for online entrepreneurs.
I love the concept of the stadium pitch and it’s something EVERYONE should know about.
Also there’s a huge takeaway about education based marketing and why it’s so important.
3. Blue Ocean Strategies – W. Chan Kim & Renée Mauborgne
This book was recommended to me by a friend, Jennifer Gresham, who has used the concepts to massively increase her business sales a coach.
I found it a little difficult to get into at first but I persevered and now love the whole concept of Blue Ocean Strategy. It really made me think about my own business and how I was competing a marketplace filled with the same type of training.
4. Millionaire Success Habits – Dean Graziosi
The one thing that stood out in this book for me was the fact that it is practical, and not just theory.
Dean talks about a concept called ‘7 Levels Deep’. I am not going to spoil it for you but that exercise alone is worth the price of the book.
5. DotCom Secrets – Russell Brunson
This is the second book by Russell in this list but I honestly feel it is warranted. You can probably tell I am a huge fan of Russell’s and that is because what he shares is all about what has worked for him. He is someone who is in the trenches and getting shit done.
In this book he explains the whole concept of funnels and why they are so important in business.
My business really took off when I started using the information in this book and I think yours will too.
6. Launch – Jeff Walker
Jeff Walker is well known in the internet marketing circle and has made more millionaires than anybody else online with his Product Launch Formula.
This book lays out exactly what the product launch formula is all about and a lot more.
I love the information he provides in this book and is a must read for every influencer.
7. Jab Jab Jab Right Hook – Gary Vaynerchuck
Everyone who is trying to make it online should read this book.
I’ve watched Gary grow over the years and watch his youtube channel on a daily basis. he is perhaps the most honest, no bullshit entrepreneur on the net.
The advice in this book is just pure gold and should be required reading for every entrepreneur.
